Pickman's North End

This exhibit describes the research conducted by Thurber on the North End of Boston in the course of his search for Richard Upton Pickman's studio. Thurber's public account of his experiences in that studio is available online. 

Materials are exclusively taken from The Thurber Papers, c. 1900-1950, held by the Orne Library at Miskatonic University. The exhibit may serve as an entry to further research on Pickman or on early 20th century North End architecture.
